I've just re-watched the incident on the I-Player. I suggest you do likewise.

McGuire is kicking with his right foot. Farrell is approaching from McGuire's left side. Farrell leaps at McGuire's torso from McGuire's left. Upon impact Farrell's left knee hits McGuire in his left hip and Farrell's left elbow hits McGuire on the left shoulder. Again, I remind you that the ball was on the end of McGuire's right foot.

There was no intention whatsoever to charge the kick. He deliberately jumped high into a defenseless kicker and having watched it further was lucky it was only a yellow card.

Just watched the game again on DVD and there was no attempt to play at the ball. Farrell charges the player arrives late and hits McGuire in the air.

It was a clear yellow card.

You have clearly never been hit by a 16+ stone forward running at full tilt whilst off balance.



McGuire wasnt badly hurt (luckily) but it would have winded and caused some discomfort.

I was just saying that leeds have classless players who in the heat of the game do let themselves down ,just like all teams do .But as a WWF fan you would no all about class.
