I think you need to be careful what you say. The 20 lads i am mates with that all live in kippax and were born and bred in Kippax would certainly tell you to revoke that statement. They are proud Leeds lads, follow Leeds united and follow the Rhinos.

Also lets have a look at Robert harvey, Adam Nutter and Stuart Coleman! They're all proud Leeds lads and have openly stated that in many interviews

Its is indeed wikipedia which can be written by anyone, i could change it to say that kippax was on the moon if i so wished.

Its part of leeds council but people dont always come from the same place as there local council i come from cas, i have a pontefract phone number and a wakefield postcode, Of those 3 things only the first one is important to the question of where i am from as the other 2 are meaningless administrative distinctions. castleford had its own local council (until 1974 as i recall) but since the less councils you have the more money you save, local councils in the country were consolidated into larger councils, this did not relate to where places were, rather how efficient they could make the administration.When castleford stopped having its own council did the people of cas wake up one morning to find out they were from wakefield? no of course they hadnt, the only change was in the bureaucracy of the local goverment.

A hell of alot of my friends come from kippax as its just down the road so i have gone to school and college with people from kippax and worked with a number of them. None of them say they are from leeds, and many of them vigorously argue as such, one of them i know is a die hard rhinoes fans but always says that kippax is not part of leeds. The only person from kippax i have met that said kippax was part of leeds, was born in leeds originally (somewhere near hyde park as i recall) and all the other locals in the pub that day said he was wrong.

I agree with what you say about Wiki but i believe that to be correct.

Kippax has its own identity, but is still attatched as part of Leeds. People are from Kippax the same way i'm from Swarcliffe. Which is a suburb of Leeds. The same way Kippax, Garforth, Headingley, Burley, Seacroft, Osmondthorpe, Harehills, Chapel Allerton, Chapel Town, Armley, Beeston, Hunslet, East Keswick, Thorner, Scarcroft are all suburbs of Leeds.

No you're wrong. They are all villages in their own right. The only part of Leeds that is Leeds is the city centre.

No, more than ls1 is leeds, there is a large urban conurbation know as leeds, the people in this conorbation are from leeds, the people from outside this conurbation called leeds, arent from leeds they are from other places that arent leeds.

No leeds united and the rhinoes both play in leeds, if they played somewhere outside the city that was miles awy from the city they wouldnt play in leeds though hth.

No. Headingley is a place in it's own right. it's not part of Leeds. Beeston isn't part of Leeds either. That's a village in its own right too.

Make your mind up where they play. No more than LS1 is Leeds. Neither Utd or Rhinos play in LS1, so obviously they dont play in Leeds.

Also, please learn the following:

1) Leeds has a capital letter as it a place
2) Aren't has an apostrophe after the N and before the T
3) Rhinos is spelt R H I N O S. There is no E in there.
4) Away has 2 As in it.
5) Wouldn't doesn't have 2 Ds in it and also needs an apostrophe after the N and before the T

If i were writing an essay i would check my grammar and spelling so it was perfect, but i'm not i'm posting on a forum so i really dont give a damn, as long as someone can understand what i have posted then its as good as it needs to be. It will only normally come up if someone wishes to distract from the fact they are losing an argument.

Either way i have no intention of becoming a writer so dont worry yourself lad.
