Not pre the 1972/73 season though. Back then the Champions like now (post 1997) were decided by the play offs where the Championship Final and Challenge Cup Final were but a few weeks apart.

That's a long list but not a lot of players who you'd really want back - maybe Fox to replace Donald, Carvell, Scruton, and maybe Terry Newton of a few years ago?
