When BJB was with us I think touching the corner post still wasn't allowed, allowing wingers to get away with touching the corner flag has helped a lot of wingers look better than they are. Personally not a fan of it and would prefer a return to players not being allowed to touch the corner flag.

I agree that he no longer has the speed he had a few years a go, but he still has enough to finish the majority of time he is put in the clear.

Also, a major reason he keeps getting picked for England is he is far better defensively and positionally than the majority of SL wingers, so to say he is behind your two wingers is pretty ridiculous

Just to add....the debate about wingers, Watkins etc...probably started with me saying I'd have neither Hall or Watkins from Leeds...there's more to it than simple playing ability...I'm sure both would look great in Trin shirts, but I'm happy with what we have and how they fit our style of play, team spirit, budget, etc...

Reece Lyne, who unfortunately doesn't play tomorrow is a fine example....someone find out the respective contracts of Lyne and Watkins and what they offer to their respective teams...it's why I'm happy with Lyne! Players like that have enabled us to have the strength in depth we have so that we can go to Salford without 7 or 8 of our first 17 and come hone with the two points...

Happy with the strength of that 17 considering we will have...Johnstone, Lyne, Miller, Huby, Kirmond, Arona missing...

BJB's enjoying a fine spell of form and confidence. If he keeps it up (and I hope he does) he's a better player than the one that left us. Can he though?

I would be inclined to start with Galloway and Ablett and use Garbutt and Ferres for impact from the bench.

Ferres and impact cannot be used in the same sentence.

On paper we look the strongest squad. That does not always translate into winning the game. Nevertheless I am expecting a win.

Ablett only back last week and still working his way back from a long lay off so would give him another start from the bench. Would rather have impact right from the start tonight and Garbutt is our big metre maker, first start in a while last week in a poor game and came up with 190m, get that yardage on from the start especially in wet conditions and a forward battle.
