Whatever we do or don't do with the coaching, the club has been very internally focused over the past months in the effort to stay up. That's understandable: but I do think the fans need to be communicated with about the vision going forward, because my word aside from the unexpected glory of 2017, it's been a rough four years now.

Its not understandable for me. You should always be looking at the medium and long term, and not just the short. Right now, even staying up, we are prolonging been in a difficult position, because we haven't done anything proactively about the medium and long term. The head coach position was a significant part of that. Agar long term will not be the answer, but if the management really feel it is, then why the hell didn't they sort it months ago? that is such short term planning, and limits the amount of faith anyone can have in the decision making.

I’m thinking Nathan Brown would be too opinionated to work in our structure. Whatever we do, we need to confirm quickly. The coaching team needs to be in place to oversee full pre-season if we’re going to move forward.

Brodie it doesn't matter what a Director told you unless it was Sinfield who will ultimately be making the decision who our coach will be. If it was Kevin I would be very surprised if he said that to you.

It won't be Nathan Brown or Adam O'Brien.

Brown has kids who are getting to exam years, he won't be coming back to the UK anytime soon.

O'Brien is the next NRL head coach in waiting, and pretty much has first choice for any of the NRL jobs thst come up - he doesnt need super league and is likely the next Knights coach.
