| I live in Cas and there was a lot of excitement when the semi draw was made. I think there's going to be lots of them in the neutral seats

| Gona go get our tickets on Tuesday morning. F-ck knows where we will end up going that late to get them?
511 or 516 would be ideal.

| I've never really thought about the period between the semi and the final having an impact of ticket sales but the fact that having them both fall in the same month means if you attend both they come out of the same pay packet.
Both are away games, both are not on your season ticket, so both are going to cost a wedge of cash (with the final obviously costing more).
I guess this is another reason why the RFL should look at pushing the semi further apart from the final.

They only had 1's and 2's in the lower tiers (£32)
plenty in 516 though.

I bet the London Bronco's game this weekend will be like a ghost town, I just cant afford to pay £25 for travel and then ticket money etc. A real shame as I enjoy going to a new ground too. I'll bet a few others will be the same.

& further away from the play-off series & grand final too, especially in years when there are end of season international games &/or world cups.

But from another point of view, its great it's only 2 weeks away. The excitement was building from the weekend and no nervy wait.

Agree wholeheartedly. I think its just too close together, and will put some off I'm sure.
I'm also going down to the Broncos game on Sunday. I booked my trains ages ago, but I still have the match ticket, drinks, food etc to fork out for. Its turned into a very very expensive month.

| They never ever think of the fans. Like any sport really. Having the semi so close to the final is why there's only two of us going. Others simply cant afford it.

| Do you have to buy tickets for a child under 2? He'll be sat on my knee so won't need a seat but I suspect that doesn't matter right?

Yes, even babies need a ticket! A bit of a joke. Mind you its helped me convince the Mrs that she should stay at home with the kids.

| It's not surprising that Cas will take more than Leeds, I doubt you would be able to get any tickets right now if it was our first final in 20 + years
Should make for a cracking atmosphere

Yep. In the 16 seasons since the Grand Final was introduced there have only been 4 seasons in which Leeds haven't been in a final.
It's no wonder the novelty wears off after a while.

| I don't think for one second we'll be outnumbered by Cas fans. Yes, as stated by others, the likelihood is that there'll be more Cas-supporting people in the ground due to almost all 'neutrals' siding with the underdog.
Leeds fans are more relaxed when it comes to Finals due to extensive experience. We don't all need to rush down and queue at the ground for hours the day after the Semi. There's over a week until the Final. Plus, we've learnt how easy it us just to get tickets from the RFL and still be sat amongst our own fans.
In the build up to the Wigan final in 2011, it was all negative with most Leeds fans discussing the margin of which we'll be beaten, hence the slow ticket sails. Didn't GH state in the YEP before the 2010 Final, that he was led to believe, through information from the RFL, that there were expected to be 40,000 Leeds supporters? I doubt there'll be that many this time but I'd expect around 30,000.

| I was up home in the North East all weekend so couldn't join the masses in the queues on Sunday for a ticket. So I just went on the RFL ticket website, chose where I wanted to sit, (South Stand - as ever - but more to the Leeds end) bought it and (£2 admin fee aside) had no issues at all.
With how easy it was, I don't understand why anyone was there queuing like nutters on Sunday. Were any of you? What is the reasoning behind it? By Sat night, I was sorted and booked up so didn't have to stress myself with hoping someone would then answer the phone in the shop on Sunday.
Easy!

Ditto. Do it that way every year. Wouldn't dream of queuing on the Sunday morning, especially in the tail end of a hurricane! I'm sure people have their reasons though.

I was going into Headingley on Sunday afternoon so thought I'd may aswell grab our tickets then. The ticket office was empty, the phones were busy though and I was told by the gent in the ticket office that people were queuing at 4:30 am!. I wanted block 111 or 112 but had to settle for 110, maybe that is why people were there soo early, not worth it though surely.
