quite right.JP is not the kind of player that goes swinging without good reason and it was quite clear to everyone why he reacted as he did.the referee gave both players 10 minutes and that was the right decision and the situation was ended pretty much there and then.I can certainly see why he feels a ban is harsh.

| JP is clear to play, Fined £300. I don't know to do a link but's on the RFL's Twitter feed.
Just need Zak to get off with a fine and every thing's sorted

God the meltdown on Hudds board with comparisons between Peacock and Wardle will be funny to see.
Part of me hopes Hardaker does get a ban just so I don't have to read the faux nauseating OTT 'genuine' outrage by those who are disgusted by offensive gay insults.....but who I bet have never once said boo to a goose when they've heard a fan in the crowd shout "get up you big poof" at an opposition player, which pretty much occurs at every single game.

I'm personally glad he's playing. Should make more of an entertaining game. I love watching him play too. I can see why some of our fans would be annoyed but the disciplinary system is how it is. We just have to forget the past and get on with it. I do think a few of our boys will be trying to wind him up, but I'm sure your boys will be doing the same to Brough. I'm expecting fireworks. Hope it's a good Yorkshire battle.

| Well with those disciplinary issues settled I'll go for
BJB
Briscoe
Watkins
Moon
Hall
Sinfield
McGuire
Singleton
R.Ward
Peacock
Clarkson
S.Ward
Delaney
Bailey
Leuluai
Sutcliffe
Walters
Want to try Leuluai off the bench, and not for the usual "he needs resting/less minutes" or even that Singleton needs starts. But because we lack impact from our subs so it would be interesting to see a currently in-form Leuluai come on around the 25-30 mins mark fresh.
Reckon what we will see though differing from what I've put above in the forwards/bench is...
Leuluai
R.Ward
Peacock
Delaney
S.Ward
Bailey/Singleton
Bailey/Singleton
Kirke
Clarkson
Sutcliffe

| Leeds better have that backline wrapped in cotton wool at training this week.
One injury away from Stevie Ward in the centres again...

Pointless playing Kirke, but he will play.
I'd like swap Ward starting loose and Bails for bench. Him and Singleton can offer a bit of beef from bench.

| I feel we need to try and go round this hudds. team tomorrow to get anything from this game.we have the strike in our three quarters to do it from anywhere so get it wide early,if we try and grind it out I see only one outcome.

| I hope Ward (R) is given the opportunity to play his natural game. He looked a lot better towards the end of the Leigh game when he was allowed to scoot around a bit more. If we get the ball to Moon and Watkins quickly, then the game will be in our favour. If we carry on our current trend of karting the ball up the middle, then we could be in for a long night!

| a good effort and could have nicked it at the death.
Not a great deal to complain about with so many front line players missing thought we stood up well.Sinfields kicking game was awful though, really shocking for a player of his standing and ability.

It was in the first half with his aerial kicks especially the out on full ones, had some good grubbers though (R.Ward had a good one also).
Oh to have had Hardaker at FB.

| Again, the lack of runners in attack cost us, not enough players in motion running at space, we missed Ablett massively I thought.
It was a tough game but booth teams executed poorly, but Hudds controlled the ruck better than us, although I thought they got away with a hell of a lot of messing around at the PTB, but we didn't do enough to earn a quick PTB.
Individually, Watkins, Bailey, Robbie Ward and JP were decent, but I fear for us while Hardaker is out if BJB doesn't improve dramatically, he was shocking in just about every area IMO. Not enough impact from the bench either I thought, I would've started Singleton and brought Kylie on off the bench, Kirke offered nothing which is par for the course to be fair.
All in all despite many predicting a drubbing we really should have won that game but yet again our failure to turn field position into points let us down.

On that performance i would be tempted to play Briscoe at full back and move BJB to wing.

Did actually knock Crabtree on his backside in a rare moment.

| For me the biggest difference was the feet of brough and Sinny. Sinny out on the full twice, brough 40-20 twice (admittedly BJB shoul have stopped at least one of them).

He should've stopped all three of them, and not lose the ball when returning another.
Brough did kick good but he was helped by a poor FB showing.

Those were extreme examples, but you are right. I think i only recall one decent kick from Sinfield in general play.
then in second half (first section of) they were at panic stations with last play kick. Sutcliffe's weren't any better.

Poor marking, all he had to do was fall over.
Crabtree was well looked after last night. Thought they gained more direction when he left and Larne Patrick and Ta'ai were introduced.
Leeds could do with learning quickly how to get hold of Brough.

| Think Stevie Ward on the fringes needs to be used better.
He can punch above his weight in defence and makes good contact and puts himself about. So shows he can stand his ground in this area. but with ball in hand he's not getting any favours. Getting it at third receiver with no room, is ok if you're delaney. Get your head down and battle it up. But Ward gets creamed. you want him to use his skill, like in first half, get the ball in space and he can step and fend and beat a man (which resulted in a near try, with flick on from watkins finding touch and not Briscoe)
