Got to say it's fair enough that Saints can point to the fact that they were missing Eastmond and Pryce.
We have heard it all year that from galoots and doylems that injuries are no excuse for a defeat which is fair enough but they are reasons as to why your team are'nt as fluent or firing on all cylinders great game and both teams put their all into it imo.

saints chances improved when pryce was ruled out.
He goes missing in big games and they effectively play a man down with him there.

Ali & ablett. One a real work horse, the other a player who always makes a difference vs Saints.

Now now, let's not get into this who was more hard done by debate.
You can't use injuries as an excuse when you were in a winning position more than once and blew it.
Eastmond and pryce wouldn't have changed graham turning his back on us twice. |

No doubt Saints missing two haves gave us the advantage.
But injuries happen and you play the cards your dealt. We nearly blew that advantage with handling errors and penalties mind but that only made for a very exciting game.

That's a game rather than game =#FF0000s and Castleford were rubbing along the foot of the table in 12th place out of 12 teams, so perhaps not quite a top 8 side at that point.
Other than that you're correct in stating that Leeds won and McGuire and Burrow were both absent.
Diskin, Webb and Smith all stood out for me. |
