From our experience the reason the player is out on loan is to keep him tied with his home club and release his salary from the cap. I am guessing you are up to cap and therefore would be over if they recalled him.

Well yer wide of the mark in this case bud.
Bjb was sent on loan for 1st team experience only because his place at leeds is blocked by Webb and the club chose to go with Watkins and Donald as cover so he gets as many 1st team SL matchs as possible at FB.
However our injuries are as such that if the club recall him we can at 24hrs notice after the 1st month.
The SC may be an issue behind other teams thinking but not in this case.

Yeah I thought this too but bluey has gone on record saying he is recallable if needs be in an artical on the Leeds website

Indeed, that is what I pointed out, and I would be surprised if he is unaware of the exact terms of the loan agreement - but it wouldn't be too startling for him to be incorrect. (Our poster insinuted his source was a fairly reliable one at the Leeds club, and he's not the type to make this sort of thing up).

Disregarding the dense poster who obviously can't tell his @rse from his mouth, BJB has been superb all season bar 1 game and will fit in perfectly at Leeds. Would be sad to see him go but surprised it hasn't happened sooner. From what I have seen of Webb lately, which albeit isn't a huge amount, I would prefer BJB in my team. A class act when interviewed in the bar at the beginning of the season too.

I'd have to agree that due to our current injury crisis at the club that it would be in the best interests of the Rhinos to re-call BJB from his loan spell at the Quins........provided that he will definately get the desired game time whilst he's back at the club

Looking at the next 2 to 3 months, it would suggest that quite a bit of game time will be available on the wing covering both Donald and Watkin's absences

If BJB does return to the club, then i would also like the club to keep BJB at the club until the end of the season and not loan him out again, this will ensure that we don't suffer a repeat of the 2008 scenario when Webb had to pull out of the GF squad at the last minute, because we don't have the players to cover this vital spot as well as Smithy did back then without him!

However now with Watkins gone for the season (adding to the mid term unavailability of Donald, Ablett and Eastwood) and the current difficulties getting Delaney, Webb and Hall anywhere close to 100%, I think the outside back options are looking much reduced all of a sudden.

I'd expect Jones-Bishop to be well in front of Tom Bush for instance who has already been given his debut this season while only a part-time player, full-time plumber. Any electricians fancy a game out there?

The idea was for him to get as many games as possible as 1st choice FB in SL so although we had lost Donald for 3 mths there was still sufficiant cover in the coachs opinion rather than recall him for the odd game on the wing.
Now with both Watkins and Donald out and doubts over Webb,Delaney and Hall it's a case of having no choice but to recall him.
