Hooker is the most overrated position in terms of importance in the modern game.

He doesn't necessarily have to come from the NRL but that would be an option. I hope tonight's game hasn't had too much of a bearing on the healthy debate we're enjoying because that was, by some consideriable distance, the worst Wigan performance at Headingley under Brian Noble. It is clear you cannot get sucess just by buying players, you need to develop a decent youth policy and then add the odd high quality import, alone the lines of TS. Think of Brent Webb, Scott Donald and Ali. The super league should not be a home for overpaid poor NRL players. This i understand is one of the complaints about Wigan they are just getting second rate Aussies at the cost of young home grown players.
