Leeming is doing a good job in the halves.
And Broadbent is clearly a class act.

The future is definitely bright with the crop of kids we have.
And they seem to be delivering, rather than just having potential.

But let's remember, we've turned over Leigh and Salford.
That's not the benchmark.
The next 3 games will give us a gauge of where we are.

And I'm looking forward to them!

Holroyd immense. If he plays like this to the end of the season then he will also be in the England squad.

You know what, I don't think he'll be a million miles away. I wouldn't swap him for many other props in the league now. The key for him though is staying fit and continuing to work on his game.

Watched highlights at lunch. Some lovely stuff albeit against a poor team. Holroyd looks a monster in the making.

I had hoped we where on the verge of a second Golden generation, I really think we maybe just are. Newman, Broadbent, Okedski, Holroyd, Walters, Gannon, O Connor already luck the business. Then we have Edwards, Tindall, Sinfield and a few others on the level below.

Special note; lovely hands from O Connor putting Holroyd into that gap, he looks a classic ball playing 13. Time to bring back the classic 13.

Throw into that 22 year old Leeds lad Bentley and that’s a brilliant young crop of players. I’m very excited about our future.

I wouldn`t say he`s stealing a living.
But he`s become an average player who has looked ok against a very average side.
His defence at times is poor and he has no pace other than that he might start to shine against the better clubs over the next few weeks.
Fingers crossed.
As mentioned the pack played very well considering the number of minutes some have had to play lately.
Leeming looks a better half back than hooker and credit again to the front row.
I will be amazed if we can keep Wire to less than 30 on Monday but you never know.
Plenty to look forward to with this crop of youngsters coming through though.

Anyone got any thoughts on whether Holroyd could be in trouble for the "hand off" on Brierley? The still image of it looks horrendous.

Doesn't look good does it, but don't think any action was taken by the disciplinary commitee. Our player James Bell has been banned for one game though.

It doesn't look good on the still, but in real time it was just a hand off. There was no Intent there, it's just one of those things. Whilst the game is being made safer, there are still going to be accidents like this

No intent by Holroyd. I suppose they might have gone down the route of calling it reckless though really that'd be entering the realms of pulling out any number of incidents resulting in injury. Just hope Brierley recovers quickly.

Theres some people with a right agenda on social media, using a still shot trying to make out its some sort of dirty cheap assault and demanding action.

That don't surprise, it being the modern way. Pant wetting about nothing incidents appeals to some folk more than anything else in life it seems.

TBH if a defender is responsible for any contact with the head and that is deemed to be a penalty, they should be allowed to expect the same protection. attackers often get away with handoffs above the shoulder, as well as leading with the elbow. This should be treated the same way whether you're a defender or attacker

I agree about leading with the elbow but you can't take the hand off out of the game
