Medials are 3-6 months, if he has done the cruciate it is normally 9-12 months. The twist of the knee suggests he may have done the ACL.

MCLs are not as bad as ACLs but sometimes both are torn which takes the longest to rehab.

50 tackles by jp awesome stint

Cuthbertson's line there is immense: 42 tackles, no misses, 4 tackle busts, 23 carries, 150 metres, 3 offloads.

Couldn't ask for much more from a front-rower.

Five carries from Singleton is a bit of a worry. Had decent minutes from memory, can't believe they were all at a time we were struggling for possession.

I'd be surprised if he got more than 30 minutes. His go forward has improved a lot this season, but as you say, I'd like to see him given (or take) more responsibility.

I think it is up to Singleton to push his own case and lets his performances demand more minutes. Regrettably he is not consistently a top performer.

Well he was on long enough to make 27 tackles (to put that into context both Ward and Ablett made 33)....so I think he got decent minutes. Think he might've been purposely out there to tackle (what with the middle having to cope without a hooker) and not be using up his energy in attack. Think that's why he got the nod to start ahead of Peacock who came off the bench.

Singleton and Leuluai made 27 & 22 tackles each, yet only 5 & 4 carries each. Very reminiscent of Kirke and Bailey under the old 'no hooker in the middle' system. Have some guys that you save for the defensive handicap in the middle.

Top marks for Briscoe, his try seems to be overlooked with the celebrations of halls try.
Whilst his try was the end product of a superb pass he still had work to do.
He could quite easily have been bundled into touch.

12 misses that's almost 25% if I read the stats correctly unless its 62 attempts then his miss rate is only 20%.

I really like Singleton, he provides a youthful enthusiasm to the forwards when he comes on, and even though he only made 5 carries last night, I'm pretty sure 2 of them were vital in setting up field position to score 8 of our points in the second half.

80% of people on here only think of attack when it comes to tactics/selection. Too many only notice defence whenever someone misses a tackle.

Congratulations boys! Watching you this year has been a pleasure. It's been like watching Warrington in 2011, except you're going all the way to the end of the road. Gay abandon and scintillating rugby from beginning to end this year. Snapping that at the end was just pure entertainment at it's finest. Makes it all the more fun that it was snatched from Wigan and Huddersfield simultaneously. The elation of the crowd and Hall's reaction to the camera was fantastic. You're probably too used winning finals and trophies now but do enjoy it.

I thought it was noticeable that Hudds were making a real effort to get bodies in and around cuthbo tobstop the offload, the fact that he still made 3 and also 4 tackle burst shows his quality.

Also I can't imagine Brian Mac worrying too much about teams making such efforts as it can only tier the defence and provide space elsewhere (plus Cuthbertson exploits it directly when he passes close to the line rather than taking the tackle)

Re. Singleton, at least one of those carries was a good clear the lines effort on the back of us being pinned down and hudds having repeat sets

I thought Garbutt was outstanding. Although he probably didn't do as many carries and JP and Cuthbertson, his carries were probably more important at crucial times. What a signing.
