Clark isn't being run into the ground, he's spent plenty of time sat on the bench wondering how brad Dwyer is making him look bad.

Yet he (Clarke) always looks knackered to me, granted you'll see a lot more of him than me.

Does anyone have a link to the stats from the game? Struggling to find them. At the game it appeared that Garbutt got through a ton of defence was interested to read them, but not the most computer literate person so struggled to find them!!

It also appeared that Sims did a ton of defence and work, so not sure what the comments above from others are about.

He seems to be a leader for them and seems to play long minutes.
Not much of a metre maker or big hitter I think is what the posters are commenting on.

Is that down to being knackered like Hill or unable, like Kirke. I have no idea.

Some impressive stats for Garbutt and Cuthbertson.

44 tackles and only one miss. 15 carries and hundred metres. That is huge work rate.

JJB doesn't meet those stats and yet gets praised for his work rate. I would say people are looking for something that is not there with Simms. He is certainly giving good return on his money on those stats.

And Kirke run the ball superbly for us, he was just too lazy to do it often enough, and that was his problem.

I am not disagreeing,merely pointing out what I thought the other posters were commenting on.

Kirke did a job for us,solid if unspectacular. My issue with him was always that I felt he was holding back Singleton or keeping a place in which we could sign better.

Some people are just never happy. I am kinda glad Hardaker and Watkins are backing themselves more.

Only Watkins doesn't seem to....as Printer pointed out, how many times has he puzzingly stuttered to a halt when confronted rather than continuing to put his foot down?

As I have stated previously I don't think Hardaker would have held on for glory going for his hat trick [uIF[/u the score had been more critical.

Bottom line is we are stll very lucky to have both of them whatever their shortcomings.

Watkins is still quite young and I think his playing ability can be so classy at times people overlook that .from the interview on YEP it seems he thinks his confidence hasn't always been that great when backing himself
