Quote ="tvoc"Like this contribution from earlier this season, after Hall had already proved any of his previous doubters wrong:
'"
Seems like a valid contribution from a knowledgeable poster on a specific aspect of Hall's game. Just as any knowledgeable poster would have rightly critcised Hall's handling last Friday.
What the less knowledgeable posters do is very different. They over react and say things like
"I still believe that the step up to Super League is a step too far for Hall."
"I’ve never believed that Hall has the skill set to cut it in the SL at the moment. Another year in the reserves if I had my way"
"I think he has potential just not quite there yet."
"He'll never be more than average, SL perhaps, but average within that standard"
Not to mention these pearlers.
Quote his lack of gas and engine all mark him out as a young bloke who has lucked his way into a single digit squad number. That's OK, wing isn't a high priority position in the team and someone has to fill out the numbers. He puts the effort in and is very willing but he just isn't blessed with that star quality.
Not a reaction to last night's performance, just a consistently held opinion.
Not seeking to knock him but I don't see him as a starting 1-7 Leeds player when the squad is up to strength and when it isn't he'll be an adequate stop-gap.'"
