Why don't you f**k off with your t drum, and your t ideas of bringing trumpets to games. They are Fukcing shiite. I have enough of the band at home games, away games are abit of freedom where supporters can create there own atmos without the need to bang a a t drum. All a drum does is drown out the noise of supporters voices. If i wanted to listen to a band then i would fukc off to music class and have lessons on Friday night.

As a regular away day follower there is nothing better than a band free atmosphere from the Rhinos army. When the Rhinos fans are in full voice, which is not all the time away from home, but when we are especially in the big games there is nothing better. No band needed imo.

I'll be the trumpeter.

You have to:

A) Pay for trumpet lessons
B) Pay for my travel to away matches
C) Pay for my tickets to away matches
D) Supply me with beverages and food as and when required

Unfortunately the army only sing when Leeds are winning which is no good to anyone. If there was no band there'd be silence and the 'faux, sing when we're winning barmy LOL army" are next to useless.

I dissagree. I think a lot of the atmosphere as gone since Leeds became more and more successfull. We only seem to be singing if putting on a show and winning, or if making a comeback.

Away games though are better than home games, where quite frankly for the size of the crowd we are pretty poor these days.

Why do those people who take a friggin' drum to a match think it's a good idea? Is it a desperate look at me plea to the other travelling fans, or maybe they're hoping to catch the eye of a bored sky cameraman, so they can later recount their brief moment of fame to anyone who will listen?

Either way. If you want to bang a drum go and join a brass band FFS!

errr no, it's an attempt to help atmosphere. Unfortunately the 'singing group' a) don't join in with songs they dont' start, and b) when no-one joins in, start insulting other fans (anyone remember huddersfield away). Also, as a bunch of overweight ed up blokes a lot of fans don't like joining in on principle. Plus if you're sat 100 feet away it's often difficult to hear what they're singing-which is why only one or two big chants get going. A drum is a lot easier to hear, and does most of the work. Most people CAN be bothered to shout 'rhinos' or 'leeds' at the appropriate point. They can't be bothered trying to work what thr drunkards up the back are yelling.
