i don't think you will get there. i think you have been awful for a lot of the season and the three leeds games apart you have been largely woeful.
you would have to play at the top of your game for 3 games in a row, something you haven't done all season.
once you get rid of the deadwood,and even though i agree KC has been SL's best ever player,he is one. get moore and roby in tandem next year, get in a couple of quality forwards and i think you could win it next year.

I don't think its a lack of passion or commitment. Anyone who has played the game knows that there are no hiding places and if you go into a game half d you're going to get hurt.

We've had far too many injuries this year, many clubs wouldn't have made the top 8 with the injuries we've had let alone making the semis of the cup. We've struggled finding consistency all year due to the injuries. The kids that have come in have done very well considering some of them could still be playing junior academy.

Look at the saints side that demolished Castleford at the Jungle earlier this season and the Saints side now

Actually, not true. We had a purple patch at one point where we looked like our old selves: beating you guys twice in a short time, tonking Wakey and Cas, beating Wigan and Wire and such like. But either side of that we have varied from poor to poop. However, I don't think that has anything to do with form.

maybe so,. but the team, or the key parts, have been allowed to get old together. you have had no consistency yet ask me to believe you can peak for 3 successive games.

I said straight after that game that they'd shot their load too early.

Im more concerned with Hull Kr as theyre our opponents this Friday, what other teams do in the playoffs doesnt bother me.

Agree. As both Potter and McClennan have pointed out, it is a completely new competition. I think Leeds will find it tough to get to and win the GF whoever they play - I don't see it as some kind of walk-over just because Saints aren't in good form [iat the moment[/i.
