Really good game, although quality missing a bit from both sides second half I thought. Very tough on the ticker. Impressed with Salford - I don’t think Agar got his bench right personally. Smith very unlucky and I’ve said before I’d take Holroyd over Cuthbo. We could have bossed the middle better.

Ava was very good today. And Prior on the whole. Thought Koni was good too - ridiculously strong legs.

Agree with pretty much all of that. Smith or Holroyd on the bench for me for Cuthbo and Sutcliffe.

Thought we missed a bit of threat from left centre but thought L Sutcliffe defended very well. Dummy half play was a touch erratic at times and Agar was irked with the second half mistakes. Overall though the lads did well and brought it home

Really pleased to get the win. It's great for the club, and shows we're going about our business quite well.

What I think is strange is that the golden generation had to have so many attempts to get a challenge cup win. The new generation have done it first time out.

Still plenty to do before we can consider ourselves a top team, but this is a great bonus.

Whoever gave Myler man of match should be embarrassed. But for two runs he was pretty woeful. Had he been the Salford fullback, we would have run up a cricket score.

Gale should have been MOM really, simply for the influence in the result. Thought Prior put in massive amount of work, on those terms would have pushed him hard. The forwards really set a platform, which got quite messy at times from the backs.

I knew we wouldn't miss Newman. Best of luck with your recovery though lad.

I thought Myler had a good game bar the missed kick, which is the part of his game at full back that remains a concern. He had a hand in 2 tries made a great break and his positional play has improved no end.

Thought it was a very good game, absolutely delighted to get the win. We played well for large parts but a couple of errors here and there prevented us from getting a couple of scores up.

Massive well done to everyone who's played a part in dragging us back up from where we were not too long ago.

Thought Myler played well. On his day Walker is the better fullback but considering Myler has only ever played there this season his performances have been remarkable. Thought Briscoe showed why he deserved a new deal too he was very good.

Weve won the cup and some people want to criticise the man of the match and the bench selection. Coaching Leeds is a tough gig.

Gale and Prior had both great games as did Myler. I think your comment of woeful is very harsh. I don't think you will have many people agreeing with you. For mine Gale would probably just edge it.
