if any fan's team won a game or trophy and it ended up proven it was via cheating or gamesmanship or whatever, they wouldn't ask for the trophy or the two points or the next rounds tie to be given back would they? get real.

i beleive i wouldn't require an excuse to vent my feelings on any matter in public (on this forum) considering i am not a respected figure, an england captain of a well known sport or any kind of figure that children and fans of the sport should look up to and expect better from. or the coach of the player i mention above either.

Because he realised he'd made an error of judgement in the heat of the contest. Good on him. I'm guessing he didn't realise how bad McGuire was injured, but only he will know that.
