Keeping Myler seems a smart decision by the club now at least til his contract expires this season Poor luck for Leeming hope he has a speedy recovery the hooker position seems to be one that we can't quite fill with a long term candidate.

Yes I was thinking the same a minor niggling Injury to major knee surgery and it looks like Myler will get an extra year probably Dwyer too .

I read not more than two weeks ago he was nearing fitness but making sure not to rush it. Now he is out for 4 months which is early summer, then he has to get fully fit.

I guess these things happen.

We must not give Myler another year though. Dwyer, who is playing pretty well at the moment, may find he is inline for a other year because of this though.

Not sure it's all down to Leeds medical staff I'm sure I read that he'd had a scan at hospital.Scans don't always show everything one of my running pals went in for a routine clear out which would have kept him out for 4/6 weeks. Once the surgeon got him opened up it was far worse than first thought and he was then looking at 6/10 months out. It ended up being 6 months.

FFS its not always someones fault when a player doesnt rehab as quuck as first thought or inhury becomes worse during rehab. Im confudent the medical staff know what they are doing. its part of sport and life that happens

I don’t necessarily mean the Leeds staff have been negligent in his recovery, but you need to question the quality of the scan, and it’s interpretation when there is such a difference. We should be getting the best paid medical opinion in the country.

Tend to agree with this, said something similar about Crosby last year only to be shot down, question all medical rehab and conditioning staff. We dont seem to be as strong or resilient as most other superleague teams.
