Good that there is an air of anticipation about the game, and uncertainty about who will play. That suggests we have good options, and healthy competition for places. A luxury from our position last season.

I guess team will be dependant on who is fitter out of Walker or Newman.

For Smith, I can see him coming off the bench, when fatigue starts kicking in as a general tactic. It's worked well in the last couple of seasons, and makes better use of his skillset. Though with a pivot out, he may start to partially cover that gap.

It wasn’t that bad, just looked like 2 teams that were rusty.

I did however think people are over estimating HullKR, they did well last year in a disrupted season but i think they’ll struggle this year.
