His only chance is for Gale to be side lined with injury.

He had plenty of opportunities - sadly it would appear he is one that looked great as a junior but hasn't been able to make the transition. Perhaps badly advised by his agent too.

Agree. Would not write him off yet personally. Could see him going somewhere and it coming back to bite us.

That would be the sensible option. He needs game time to progress and lawd knows he isnt getting that at Leeds when everyones fit.

Could do with a loan to another SL club if rules allow. Wakey Salford KR etc

The problem is he does not appear to have any outstanding areas to his game

iirc he was the higher rated out of him and Trueman at Cas and RU clearly saw some star quality in him so did Kev and Agar. I totally agree he’s not shown enough but the trouble is most of the time he’s played in a poor team particularly in the forwards dept who lay the platform for the halves so he hasn’t really had chance to shine. He’d have to be Joey John’s or Alfie Langer to stand out in some of the teams we’ve fielded in recent seasons when Mclelland has been playing.

I worry his lack of pace will be the issue, as he's too small to make up for that....

The annoying thing is that he would be paying now if it wasn't for his injury. Can't see that window appearing again....

I personally think that the club may extend his deal giving him another opportunity since they paid a fee to get him back into RL. I do think Luis days at Leeds are numbered mind and that he may even leave mid year if an opportunity arises.

Not sure who rated him higher than Trueman but ive heard that said a lot. Trueman is top drawer.

Broken thumb anywhere from 1-4 months. Depends if needs an op.....

I've been told Liam Sutcliffe is also injured, but I'm not sure how serious it is.

Mclelland is I believe abou 3/4 weeks away so he may get his chance.

Not sure I can remember a time when so many of the first team were injured at the same time.

Disappointing there are some muscle injuries in there.

We basically need to scrap it out and try to stay out of the bottom of the table; if we can hang in there we should get troops back over the next couple of months.

We have almost 3/4 of our first choice side out...

I can't remember so many out also and other than Holroyd they are all backs.

That would leave Walker, Lui, Holroyd on the sidelines.

Given I’m expecting a two / three match ban for Tetevano too, he’d be back for Wakefield and miss Wigan, HKR and Huddersfield.

Some positives there. I can’t see us getting a result in the Wigan game with the team we’ll have out. Hopefully with several players back after that game, we can get a few wins on the bounce against the lesser teams.
