Agreed, Queensland, NSW and Australia regularly move players between Centre, Wing and Full Back to fit the best players into a match day squad, I don’t think spending a bit of time on the wing will do Newman any harm.

You could be right, but Wire have had a few NRL props come over with big reputations over the last 15 years, and the majority of them have been disappointing.

No id like a top signing like Agar promised or Merrin wouldn't leave. So far we've signed Rhys Evans. Nothing been mentioned on Martins passort for the last month so I'd expect the much covered 22 shirt to he vacant a while we continue to cut costs.

Come on Chris you know full well Agar has said many times that we had a replacement lined up & had numerous options we were talking to.
Granted im sure he said it may not be the same position as Merrin but a replacement was promised.
The Martin passport thing came later once again big starements re-recruitment have been made & not carried out.
