Best player in the world wouldn't have missed an easy drop goal with loads of time and space to weigh it up and under no pressure whatsoever like Holdsworth just did.

Agree....they've been so dominant that they've managed to score a whole 18 points, and none in the second half against a busted team playing poorly. They must be over the moon!

That two year contract extension for Kirke is looking better by the minute. Delighted to see solid players like him signed up! But don't worry folks, we haven't seen a decline in the last 2 years and all the older heads should be rewarded new contracts.

unlucky like kr to have so many injuries, i agree fc will be world beaters. atleast you did not lose by a VR. but what people always seem to forget. you are leeds you can finish 5th or 6th and still win grand final so chin up lads n lassies

Well, it was about as it could possibly get wasn't it? The defence was terrible in the first half and discipline again was poor. We've got to get Mcshane in at 9 from the start and get Burrow in midfield, we looked a lot more threatening when we had Burrow and Mcshane were on.

From a playing pov I thought the Sutcliffe and Singo did alright, and I thought Sinfield was better but we really lacked any threat out wide once Watkins went off which meant over coming an 18 point margin was going to be almost impossible. Although its amazing to think if Vickery shows a bit more backbone at the end of the first half they're would've only been 1 score in it. Also, Clarkson is lucky we've got injuries because he would be nowhere near the side IMO.

Overall there's no need to panic yet but with McGuire and Watkins seasons looking over its going to be very tough to salvage anything from this season.

Don't know how Sir Kev can say we weren't far off in the first half, it was diabolical and as bad as I've seen for a while. This form has been coming for a while. Even when we were on our unbeaten run we weren't playing that well. We're not a well organised team and have a poor game plan. I wonder what they work on each week because nothing really changes.

Other teams are making us look ordinary by doing the basics. I still can't remember the last time we put an 80 minute performance together, maybe the GF. I've never been impressed by McDermott's tactics. Interested to see what he says.

Sutcliffe and Singleton were bright spots.

Hull were undoubtedly the best side on the night. We seem intent on going down the middle playing one man rugby and look quite dangerous when we actually move it out wide. Vickery is a joke for me and I wouldn't have him anywhere near the first team as he's simply not good enough to play SL, we should have someone in the seconds who can do better than him, his schoolboy error was horrendous.
As for Childs IMO he's the worst in the SL he's inept and I can't understand why they would employ Cummins to just back him up, he penalised the off us at 9-2 looked to address the balance with a quick 4 for us before reverting back to type, he missed a clear knock on in front of their sticks and we had Sinny to thank for asking him to go to the screen for the drop out decision, the mans a knob and I've yet to watch a game where he doesn't penalise the hell out of us.

The only aspect of the game we won tonight was the injury count although they look like they have lost two front rowers.

We were terrible in pretty much every area, and are getting shown up for not having a plan at the moment. The biggest disappointment after the injuries has to be Bailey. Over the last few weeks he has had the opportunity to really hold his hand up and show his worth and has failed miserably. We look completely shot in the forwards at the moment and we have no creativity, but that's long been the case.

With the injuries we have, particularly in the forwards, it looks a long road back at the moment.

The bid for 5th has begun...

Cracking month of May for Leeds which may well prove to be pivotal in the quest to finish 5th and retain their SL crown again.
