Yes it should maybe a crowd of 5k if its 6 it will be great.Its a bit too early in the year for my trip home and seeing us play Fev will bring back fond memories.

I don't doubt for a minute that your lads will give a good account mate a very good team to watch and i like watching them on Thursday nights Championship coverage.
I also attended last year when you gave our u20's a good pasting and the Fev team played well and DP is doing a good job there.

Nearly every time I see a Championship side play against a Super League team the lower level outfit always seem to try and play above their abilities. This usually results in a bit of a one sided penalty fest before things calm down, by which time it’s usually too late.

I hope Fev can keep their heads and give us a decent game.

By the way, heard the Sinny has injured his wrist and will be out for the start of the season – can anyone confirm this?

lets just remember this is rob burrows testamonial not the challenge cup final. rob started his rugby as a fev junior with the travellers saints and made his way through leeds academy, to become a rhinos legend. so both sets of supporters should show some respect for eachother and make this a great night for rob. think fev will give leeds a good go 1st half but leeds speed and fitness will show in the 2nd. id expect about 500 to make the trip from fev, so could create a decent atmosphere if all together.

Personally we will do well to get within 30, we will do alright for 50 mins then get blown away in the last 30 just like at saints in the cup last season

That late blow-out very often fails to materialise in friendlies. Sides (often both) tend to start tinkering a bit in the last 20 minutes or so.

To be honest, while Fev will no doubt want to give a good account against SL opponetns, both sides will be using this as preparation rather than a competitive match. Results are nice but not really the main thing either side will be after.

Never been able to fault the Fev support for being too quiet, that's for sure.

Believe it or not, Southstander.com has plenty of resident posters only too happy to chuck childish insults around. Some of this thread is actually quite funny. Not always deliberately funny, but funny nevertheless.
