Notwithstanding he has royally pished the club about with both failure to reveal convictions for his permit, then set about fecking off various senior members of the team and coaching staff with his pish poor, billy big boots attitude.

Very fair point in terms of the club itself, i take my own career very seiously and the players ive worked with at a higher level are very commited people. My point more refers to the 'supporters' who are obsessed by 'their team', very tribal and a bit sad really.

Like areas of general employment when a new job is started a newcomer is EXPECTED to assimilate to the culture and activity they DESIRED and CHOSE to join, in the knowledge a different approach would be likely within that environment.
Considering these stories go back to early spring thats hardly out of the 'honeymoon' period to find 'issues' seemingley starting.
I dont have concerns about costs the club incurred due to his injuries,they are a variable.I do have questions about commitment and responce to the efforts made to get him here by the club and an apparent lack of spirit to respond to that challenge and a contract.
His first comments when here refered more to wages not aspirations,maybe that was a warning bell.

I dont disagree with your points that are well put. However some of the vitriolic responses to his actions are well misplaced, we all make errors of judgement all have different values and sometimes look after our own backs. You take it for what it is.

For someone who works in sport you seem to not understand the relationship between a club and its supporters ?

I've "supported" the club since 1966, sometimes not at all financially, sometimes with substantial (to me) financial expense including a year of player sponsorship - and lets not forget that the members of southstander.com have for many years (including this one) bought shares in various players - we sponsored Matt Diskin for three years early in his career for example.

So if the members of southstander, many of whom bought sponsors shares this year, seem to be "obsessed" with the team and rather disappointed that one member does not seem to be "very committed" to his involvement, probably right from the start, then you'll have to excuse us, we know you can't possibly understand because maybe you're just not that sort of emotionally involved in any specific club, maybe your profession only focuses on individuals ?
