that would be my choice!
But I would also play ablett in the centre and senior on the wing if burgess and/or Ali are back rather than go with bush or coady. Which I suppose is plopping a forward in there
massive game this as it's such a potential bannana skin!

Wigan Away in Round 8. It's Round 17 for Leeds on Saturday. Ganson hasn't been seen out in the middle by anyone since Round 11.
Thaler and Smith both controlled two SL games last weekend in Ganson and Silverwood's absence.

Ambler may get ahead of Clarkson which should see JJB pushed to 13, Pitts starting at 11 and Ambler on the bench.
Still looks a pretty strong team. The halves look our only weak point imo.

Quote ="tvoc"And it pains me to see how little faith you have in the reigning SL Champions.
When Leeds won the reverse fixture (62 - 4) after the disappointment of the WCC defeat to Melbourne, they were without Scott Donald, Brett Delaney, Kevin Sinfield, Ian Kirke, Carl Ablett and it was before Lee Smith was added to the squad.
'"
Very impressive result considering Leeds were without:
5 - Ryan Hall
6 - Danny McGuire
7 - Rob Burrow
10 - Jamie Peacock
11 - Jamie Jones-Buchanan
12 - Ali Lauitiiti
13 - Kevin Sinfield
16 - Ryan Bailey
19 - Luke Burgess
That must be quite a squad Gary Hetherington has assembled this season. Arguably the deepest at Leeds since 2004.

| Indeed but he wouldn't make my or I suspect Leeds' first choice 17/18 in 2010 now that Smith has returned so I decided against including him here. Good prospect to have waiting in the wings though.

Nearly went myself. I will always remember the thrill of seeing the Vulcan at Church Fenton back in the late 70's...always a 'thunderous' highlight.
Closest to it since was the pair of Sukhoi 27's at Woodford having to display at low altitude because of low cloud.

Anotoly Kvochur - the most remarkable fast jet pilot I've witnessed. The arrival for his UK debut is well described here www.airsceneuk.org.uk/oldstuff/a ... natoly.htm
The lowest, slowest, longest wheels up approach I've ever seen. Quite a remarkable sight, by a remarkable man and a remarkable aircraft.
The Woodford display you speak of was immense as he/they created their own eco system. More vapour produced in one day (Anotoly displayed as a pair and also gave a solo display later) then you'd see in a season.
There are a couple of nice photos on his Facebook page although none from Woodford unfortunately.

I doubt he would be in the 17 but he would be in before Bush so maybe he could be counted as "missing".

He's not up to it. Powell is dissapointed in him, but has spoken with Leeds management and as per the agreement at start of season he is trying to work with Leeds on it, and improve the areas required.
He was however missing last week for Featherston only because he was on standby for Leeds, due to the shortage sitation for the Quins game.

Maybe. Perhaps you should dig your boots out of the cupboard if being in the side before Bush is the criteria here.

Thanks TVOC. That 'tail slide' manouvre defys physics and all logic.
At the other extreme the Sukhoi 26 is also an incredible machine and I have nothing but the utmost admiration for the pilots of those ....people at airshows stuffing their faces with cake and not even bothering to look never ceases to amaze me.
Realise this is a RL forum...so will end by stating both aircraft are certainly more dynamic than the French International team of last Sat evening. Set me back years with my step-son.
