Whilst the player in question says he wants to play at Leeds at some point he says the money on offer is not what he wants at this moment in time.

I think if he can keep improving he'll be a great centre for us and it would be shame to see him take the yawnion ££'s and run.

With Senior committed for another year, and Smith looking effective at centre, I doubt we'll be signing another centre this year.
Don't underestimate the benefit of Senior's international retirement - the extra break in the off-season will do him a lot of good.

Don't get me wrong. I am not definately saying he will sign a new deal at Leeds. Although his mate seems to think that might happen.

All I am saying is that a deadline has been put on negotiations for the middle of June. His mate says he does not believe he would go to union, but Wigan have made him a big offer, and apparently have also already offered a deal to Leeds involving a player swap this season.

Like I said though, his mate seems to think he will accept the offer on the table from Leeds.

Given his age, if he left on a "Bosman" to another RL club then wouldn't Leeds be entitled to compensation?

He will be 23 in August and OOC at Leeds in November. Providing Leeds offer him an improvement on his current deal -
