| Quote ="Ashmeister" Dowes was rated very highly at Leeds. '" No he wasn't. I must admit he's done much better than I thought he was since we let him go but he's still not as good as Bailey. IMO, of course. And the opinion of the Leeds management. And the opinion of the GB selectors.
Quote It could of been the fact Leeds where offering less years and money.
Same with Sruton, im sure he left rather than you releasing him. He wanted more money.
'" It could have been. It could not have been. Speculate all you like. If Leeds seriously rated those players ahead of Bailey they'd still be here. They're not. He is.

| Just looking at stats. It seems Scruton, Dowes and Carvell all make more hit ups and metres but less tackles (Bailey is often 3rd man in) and tackle busts.

| Quote ="G1"I'll make the point again slowly so you can keep up.
Leeds retained Bailey in preference to Ward, Scruton, Carvell and Dowes. Leeds judgment should be trusted on this because of the success they've enjoyed.
You don't rate Bailey. I get it. I do.
Nowt to get excited about. Your ill informed opinion won't remove him from the Leeds team just like the inferior talents of your "favourites", Dowes Thackray and Carvell couldn't.'"
I was keeping up quite nicely thankyou.
I just don't see what you and other people see in Bailey? Anyways, Glad he's at Leeds rather than Hull...

So are we!!
Having now watched the game on sky+ what your all ranting about bailey for is bollox in the main.
The 1st scrap he's in there with many others from both teams.
He DOES run the ball in and he also FRONTS up to the manly pack!
Watch the game properly before spouting your bile about bailey.
As for picking on smaller players watch who the manly hard men target aswell!!

| Opposition supporters prove once again why we keep Bailey in preference to the several other forwards who we have released for the benefit of RL as a whole - when they all hate a player you know you've got a good one.
And the really fun thing about Bailey is that you know that if he moved to another club he'd become their hero overnight - and yet they'll still deny it

He threw an item of clothing on the ground. How dare he? He might as well have dug up the corpses of your ancestors and p*ssed on the graves.
Or not. Do you think you're in danger of sweating the little things a bit too much here?

| My only issue with Ryan Bailey is that he isn't as tough as his dad. He is, however, much better than most people give him credit for.

1. He took his shirt off
2. He niggled in the tackle (not sure what that makes each Manly player)
3. He was involved in a fight
4. He wasn't involved in a fight
5. He assisted other tacklers by being 2nd or 3rd man in
What a disgrace

Fair enough, your entitled to your opinion, but as a hull fan you won't have seen him as often, or paid as much attention to him. I could say the same about some hull players, buit none have ever really caught the eye enough for me to note. Any that have have quickly moved on

| Its interesting to hear most people's opinion on this and I myself have posted in the past on how Ryan Bailey is loved or hated.
I have however; never failed to recognise that I am not a coach, nor do I know better than the Leeds Coaching Staff. I think some people should think about doing that themselves.
Leeds Rhinos are the most successful club of recent times and Ryan Bailey has been a regular in that team week in week out (Injuries Permitting) For some people to say "He's not worthy of his place, He's Soft as S**T etc etc etc" is Stupid.......The guy is a professional rugby league player. How can you call someone who puts his body on the line week in week out Soft as S**T? I imagine these people do not play Rugby League.
On the subject of throwing his shirt, it is not the image we should be portraying to the younger fans in our sport. I don't condone it and Im sure Leeds as a club will take whatever action necessary. JP could easily have been sent off for kicking off and showing his frustration like he did. Ryan Bailey could have done the same. He didn't, he threw his shirt away. Im not condoning it and Im sure he will be reprimanded but I'd prefer him to do that than risk Leeds playing with 12 men.

| This guy's the most talked about bloke after Obama!!
I saw the 'incident' well, he strolled right past me. He was told to come off he had a paddy, stomped off, muttering, pulled his sweaty shirt off, scrunched it up and threw it at the side of the pitch.
I was surprised he didn't wander off down the tunnel.
It was petulance and something you would expect off a toddler. I was in Bailey's corner last week, when it was deserved and I'll stick the boot in this week, because it's deserved.
You could argue at least it shows he does care and wanted to stay on the field. BUT there are ways to conduct yourself, and it wasn't the best moment for him.
Some are talking about punishments, I think the most effective punishment was missed by Bluey during the game. He should have gone down the bench and told him to go and get his own shirt. Walk of shame if you will. That's what I would have done, anyway.
