Problem was i think it looked cramped as you walked in, but it then opened up to the raised seating area and stretched over to the bent fruit machine in the corner.

I think it was called Oxygen when the disallowing of smoking was still a novelty.
In its Guildford guise (alliteration, good eh?) it was a lovely pub.

If we're talking 'classic' bus routes, the 61 takes some beating! Rather than a destination on the front it should have just said 'everywhere s***'! One of those tiny magic riders (the driver often used the extended stop Jimmy's as a convenient fag break).

I thought it was a shame when Lawnswood was knocked down, quite an impressive set of buildings (I remember our shiny new sport's hall after the fire).

Good spot - McLaren can be seen quite clearly.

Not quite how I remember it as I think the era that you frequented this find drinking establishment would be a little further down the historical timeline than I, but they must have obviously kept up the tradition of serving under-aged drinkers as it was well before my 18th birthday when I first stepped foot in there.
