I know. Imagine any other Chief executive in the league leaving his club with such a lack of depth in the 2nd row when a player breaks a leg.

All we've got is JJB (International), Ali (Internationa), Ablett (2 time GF winner), Worrall (Youngster with a dozen or so 1st team games last year) before we start having to blood a youngster or playing Senior there.

Maybe Ablett could cover it, he covered right centre well enough last year.

Kallum Watkins, hes naturally left centred.

Any chance of adding Mick Worral to stiffen up the pack.

Is that second row rather than pack? Given the personnel on deck Leeds need four props, three second row, two hookers and a loose forward each week. They can just about muster that.

A couple of injuries (which you should expect and plan for within the squad) and it's down to the bare bones with our only strike three quarter blunted by additional forward duties. It was noticeable when the Catalans shifted the ball for their winning try on Saturday that Senior was unable to move in cover defence.

Will Worrall get a run this season? He didn't last week where the Senior/Gibson was considered the better option when replacing Jones-Buchanan.

Seeing as though Senior is currently our only quality centre at this level I think the coach would have to be extremely stupid not to play him in his proper position.

And only one of them does any work but more seriously whether they run with three or four someone has to cart the ball forward besides Peacock which at times means Kirke or Lauitiiti doing it.



At centre Senior moved in on the second row Gossard (who McGuire had covered) and was rooted to the spot as the ball sailed past him to Croker at centre who executed the two on one play to put Stacul over. A bad read , a bad call, no confidence in McGuire or just fatigued.



If he doesn't it won't add much credence to him being even a squad player this season. He should have played last week with Jones-Buchanan out injured.

Because Leeds have lost a second row man and he has been playing in the reserves in that position and been 18th man on a couple of occasions recently.

The alternative now appears to be Gibson bench, then centre to cover Senior moving inside to second row.

If (out of contract at the end of the season) Worrall isn't in front of that option in his chosen position then there is not much point him being at Leeds anymore.

I don't particularly rate Worrall (too late, not big enough or durable enough, rubbish dad) but I'd much, much rather Senior is left to do what he does best.

Based upon the coaches picks so far this season. It's a more current indicator than any that includes a Worrall selection for which you have to go back to 2008.



I don't rate Worrall, I didn't last season when he was offered a new deal. Whether he stays or goes is fairly irrelavant if they're not going to play him anyway, as was the case on Saturday. Personally I would rather Worrall played than any notion of playing our only consistent strike three-quarter in the second row with Gibson at centre.

Potentially losing Senior from the backs says everything about the state of the Leeds squad and it's ability to achieve all their goals this season.

This has been spoken about for couple of years now, looking forward to seeing how it goes.

As long as Keith Senior keeps playing in blue and amber that’s all I care about. Where the coach plays him is the right decision because Leeds made him our coach!

Agree totally and don't forget his body will take more of a battering playing in the forwards which will mean he will be knackered at the crucial end of the season.

Without specific reference to just this post can I ask why you are not the Leeds coach or at least on the staff ?? GH surely should find somebody as consistenly erudite as you on the club and its playing staff/decisions ??
