Hudds are 3rd. That’s not a must win game. We probably won’t win that game in fact and it makes little difference. We need to be beating the bottom 2-3 teams……

I suspect we may rest a couple in perhaps McQueen or Jones with Roberts coming in as we have bigger fish to fry with a home tie on Monday against St. Helens and we will want to have our best side out against them. Not sure whether wardle may be ready to come back yet. However Watson played a very smart game in terms of our forward subs last night with Lawrence only coming on for the final three minutes. And trout didn’t play as young Wilson had a spot on the bench so likely those two props will feature. Yates usually plays 80 minutes but had a spell on the subs bench to keep him fresh, and we didn’t play mcgilvary so don’t expect too much of an easy ride.

We rested everyone this week Jools. How smart are we? Lol.

By the way on our current form you can expect an easy ride but you never know.

Surely of the two games beating Leeds must be the easier option and surely that is what Watson will focus on? You can see Saints not giving the derby their full attention

I actually thought there was a bit of an upward curve against saints.

Hudds game is massive IMO, at home after a decent break with no suspensions. And if Sezer can’t get up for this one then there’s no hope.

I’m not sure Saints was an upward curve, but the downward curve did look to flatten out a bit for most of the game. The defence was better overall (we won’t play Saints every week) but we were bloody awful with the ball, both in gaining yardage or decision making.

Sezer struggling with a groin injury which is similar (but not as bad) as Myler's. Makes sense to me. Thought he was outstanding against Wire, but his running threat has disappeared week on week since then. Story is in the YEP.

The 4 games in 2 weeks is going to be a challenge for JJB. I’m hoping he can spread the work around rather than run some into the ground and fingers crossed Myler, Holroyd and Sezer can play a part.

All year we have defended with Walker in the line, that’s a very risky play against Hudds and HKR in particular as they have very good short kicking games and lots of chasers. Tries from kicks are critical to both teams. We need to stop them and could actually attempt to score tries from kicks ourselves would be a nice change.
