| The toughest game of all in the qualifiers this one. Huddersfield have to win to basically avoid a million pound game to avoid the million pound game (they play HKR in RD 7).
They've had it over us twice this year and I would like to see us carrying on with the momentum. I don't think we will see McGuire again this year and probably the same for Moon. Garbutt should return. I would take Golding off the bench and being in Smith and let him show us what he can do.

| A meaningless game for us now we are safe, can't say i'm really bothered and i don't think the team will be either, and its fair to say we haven't been in sparkling form despite getting the wins. so i envisage a comfortable win for Hudds.
Could be an all time low crowd

| Anybody who needs a post season operation out and maybe take Watkins and Ferres out as they've had long seasons and will probably be playing for England too so could do with a rest. Hall will be featuring too but he's not played much this year.

Radio Leefs Friday on way to game McD says he may be fit for Leigh but want play unless he really has to, suspect if everyone stays fit he won't play.

| I would still like us to treat the last two games as knock out games, it puts us in better stead for for next year, and you risk injuring players if you go in half hearted. Plus want to avenge those two league defeats, and we don't want Leigh finishing above us either.

Couldn't give a damn about "avenging" a league defeat to Hudds or finishing above Leigh. Job's been done, I don't care if we end up 1st, 2nd or 3rd now.

I do, if ate ambition now is just to avoid relegation then just how low have we sunk, we should be making sure we at least finish the season on a 10 match winning streak rather than limping over the line.

| Huddersfield were cock 'o' north earlier in the season when they beat us consigning us to bottom of the table. We want to condemn them to the MPG game, then hopefully they get relegated.
Anything other than top spot is unacceptable, whether ''job's done'' or not.

Granted with Hudds "cock o north" attitude they have whenever they've beaten us (but then conspired to flop come crunch time) and their sulking when we beat them as nearly always down to the ref (apparently it was the ref that won us the LLS last year against them) would make it good to see them go down but I'm not overally fussed if it's them or Salford......wouldn't want it to be HKR now as it'd be a horrible way for Peacock to bow out.
Looking at the table if Hudds do lose to us then that probably condemns them to the MPG. With HKR likely to boost their points difference in Round 6 vs Fev then Hudds would have to beat HKR at KR's ground in week 7 by possibly in the region of 40 points which would be very unlikely. Even Salford could overtake them with two large wins vs London and Batley and have Hudds being the away team in the MPG.
Watching yesterday's game I really hope the Brough rumour isn't true. I do think he's leaving Hudds though as he couldn't even be bothered to have a hissy fit when things were going wrong and even smiling at one point when they were 48-16 down so didn't strike me as a guy worried by Hudds' fate.....at least when he's spitting his dummy out you can say he's doing it because he cares.

| I agree, Leeds need to make a statement and finish as high as possible. Putting the cue in the rack would only show that the attitude that got us here is still the biggest problem.
The only guys not playing should be those injured, or if anyone needs surgery, send them now.

The cue has been on the rack since Featherstone. We are losing next week regardless,

| I think Hudds will win too.....or at least should. If they can't produce a response on the back of what they offered up against Leigh against a team that has nothing to play for now then they really are in trouble.

Looks like that way to me also. And Salford comfortably beat Hudds at the start of the Middle 8's. This Hudds team definitely could be the one that's going down. Obviously Paul Anderson was struggling this year and wasn't winning games but under him I don't recall them losing games in such fashion as they've done vs Leigh and Salford in this Middle 8's, like I said he was struggling this year but I fancy he'd have kept up through this Middle 8's.

| For the integrity of the competition Leeds need to field as strong a side as they can and fully commit otherwise the competition is a joke.
Leeds v Leigh what's the point if Leeds are going to take the attitude many on here are suggesting - if that is the case that is taking attendance monies under false pretences!!

If Leeds had clinched the LLS last year before the final game vs Hudds would you say we should play our strongest team or rest players for the playoffs?
Happens in sport all the time, when a team has guaranteed there position they rest starters, the final day of the Premiership season often sees several changes made by team that have nothing to play for. Hell in cricket I see Emgland have asked Yorkshire not to play Root or Bairstow in their crucial county games. We've earnt the chance to send our players away for post season ops etc. the other teams like Hudds and HKR could've put themselves in the same position.
If the 19 man squad for these next two games indicate what the match day squad will look like then I see no problem. The Leigh game is two weeks away, plenty of time for people weigh up whether they want to go depending on the circumstances and potential lineup.

| Resting players has been shown not to necessarily deliver the correct outcomes. When Leeds won the GF from fifth playing there strongest side every week at the end of the campaign was seen as a real positive when compared to sides who had weeks off and rested players.
This isn't just about Leeds this is about an even playing field where potentially players livelihoods are at risk

Nothing rests on Leeds vs Leigh so that one has zero impact on players livelihoods.
As for the Hudds game. They, HKR and Salford have had 28 games to guarantee their safety. If it was the other way round and HKR were safe and resting players and we were in 4th I'm sure you'd be the first to say we've only got ourselves to blame. HKR might seem the team most affected by us resting players vs Hudds but KR's future is still in their own hands by beating Hudds the following week and they could've beaten Leigh the other week and they could've beaten us in Round 23 and gotten those different fixtures and an extra home game.
If we want to do well in 2017 we start the preparation for 2017 right now. Hull and Warrington weren't naming strongest lineups for pretty much all of last year's Top 8's and were instead looking ahead to 2016 and look how that's done for them. The sooner we get players rested, fit, fixed up for the 2017 pre-season the better chance we have of hitting the ground running in 2017.
I was one of the people who said we had to go as serious as possible vs Batley as their was a job to do and others wanted half the u19's in.....that in my opinion was showing the greater disrespect to the competition when safety wasn't guaranteed.
Let's put it is way. If Kallum Watkins plays vs Hudds and does his knee exactly the same as Stevie Ward did 12 months and we lose him for most of 2017 as we still happy we picked our strongest lineup?
