I'll be very suprised if we've signed Rapira on only a 1 year deal. Doesn't make much sense for either side.

Maybe with an option of a year or two extension if he plays a certain amount of games.TBH that would be the sensible thing to do from our point of view if there is a bit of a question mark over his fitness,then we cam pull the plug if he is hardly on the pitch next year, we'll see.

I'm not sure he's injured, he's just not first choice this season

Well he played his first game of the season the other week from the bench and was one of the better props on the field for the Warriors so with that performance from him I'd have expected him to be selected again, even if it was on the bench in order to get his 'match fitness' back gradually so the fact he wasn't playing this weekend leads me to believe he's had a reaction to his hamstring, just like JJB for us last week.

IMO this is probably why the rumour from down under is that he's only signed a 1 year deal with us as I'd imagine GH wants to get/see assurances about his fitness before committing himself to a 2/3 year deal on better terms

Someone on here was going on about Mate Myles. He's signed for Manly for 3 years, but we were never going to sign a current international/origin player with that much time left on the clock.

He's on a ridiculously big contract as well, I doubt we could've afforded him even with the marquee exemption. Kade Snowden maybe a more realistic target if he's still OOC if we're going for an origin prop.
