Undoubtedly Wigan deserve their place at the head of SL and Sam Tomkins/Josh Charnley are two of the world's best with a real x factor about them....but still think Leeds will snatch it. Wigan will win the 2011 GF and the [i2012[/i CC. (when this great Leeds, but now living on borrowed time, side breaks up)

I can't understand why these supporters of other clubs, especially Hull, are all rushing to congratulate Castleford, saying they were the better team and were robbed etc. Castleford were garbage, scored 1 try in 80 minutes and never looked like scoring again. They barely crossed the half way line in the second half, the only thing that stopped Leeds putting a cricket score on was their own inability to score. Leeds made easy yards ALL GAME, the Leeds pack was well on top. Utterly bizzare.

Disregarding the actual scoring of tries . I think we beat them comfortably in the amount of times we actually crossed their line . Did we get over 8 times ? That ain't a good defence .

I honestly agree with you it was for this year. We should have won the game with a drop goal at the end! However I think we went too late for me it should have come direct from the scrum! But as has been said some where else, that's life the players have to live with the decisions they take at the time.

4-2, you had leeds on the backfoot and you went for the 2, with a penalty in good field position.

Had you tapped it I'm convinced you'd have got another score at that point and gone 10-2 up. The game was so tight that from there I don't think leeds had 2 tries in them. Passes would have been forced more, mistakes and desperation, you'd have probably got another try and won 16-2.

But no. You went for 2, went 6-2 and kept leeds well in the game.

Going for 2 at 6-2 was the right optionbecause it meant a 6 point difference. You just had no composure, silly offload and leeds score from resultant posession. Another moment you blew it.
