I for one is looking forward to this derby for once in along time the 2 teams are even although its not for both teams playing fantastic rugby but 2 teams struggling so am hoping more rhinos fans are going to make the effort and turn out in the thousands and support the lads and help them get through this very tough patch instead of booing there own players off the pitch which i find discrasful so lets get our voices ready to roar on the lads on thursday to a win and kick start our season

Totally agree with you, people who boo are not supporters anyway they are just glory hunters who jumped on the band wagon when we were the best. Booing will not help the players it will just make confidence in the team lower than it already is.

With more like you and your sensitive "support" the team would be undeniably unbeatable.

I go both ways on this issue.

1) This team is still very much the history making team that won 3 in a row. Boo-ing doesn't help things get back on track this season - we know they are capable of more, so let's get behind them and hope to see it again.

The team are not playing well and is probably the worst I've seen us play for a few years but think they deserve some slack after the heroics over the past few years, we have been spoilt in Leeds with such a great team and as soon as things start to go wrong that's it! People turning on them.

Believe me this is the kind of criticism Rhinos can and want to put up with. They wouldn’t be playing or putting themselves in the firing line otherwise. Yeah you have good games and bad games.

But giving them slack because of what’s happened in the past, is like keeping Shaun McRae on a Salford because of what he did one season years ago.

My dad always taught me; it doesn't matter if you lose as long as you try your best.

People are not booing because we're losing, they're booing because we're showing little to no effort.

I'm just saying give them time to turn it around, I'm not saying keep players that are past their best like a few probably are but they still shouldn't be booed, they're not making mistakes on purpose. I just think its dis loyal.

I do agree its very frustrating and some players don't seem to be trying but its not just them you are booing, its all the players, some of which try their hearts out every week.

I boo'd them off at half time to show my discontent at the effort they were putting in, then cheered them back onto the pitch for the second half as if to say... "Clean slate boys, you know how we felt about the first half, now we're behind you for the second half!".

Next week is a new game, and I shall be giving them the loyalty they deserve and cheering as loud as I always have to show my support, but they can't get away with charging people to watch them just not give a sh*t. They're better than that, and they, and we know it.

I also recall in JP's book saying that in 2006 towards the end of the season when we hit a slump that the team were desperate to get out of it so did more and more training, fitness sessions etc and went away from the tried and tested, taking the stick instead of the proverbial carrot is the analogy i recall him using, looks like history is repeating itself.

I sort of agree. I personally dont boo, but not all people who boo are glory fans. My old man doesnt boo, but he shouts etc at the players (quite embarrassing sometimes.) he has been going 70yrs. Not a glory fan.

Its your money and you can boo if you want to. It is easier to be negative than positive but i just think that it boils down to frustration really no malice.

Agree, Its not really me to boo, but I can sort of understand people doing it. And it isnt very cheap anymore. Think it does boil down to frustration, lots of money being spent, and people thinking they have "paid out all this money and they dont look like there even trying"
