The punishment is appropriate, hope that Bailey has learnt his lesson. If there is a further incident involving Bailey then he should be shipped out immediately.

If it was Bailey's idea to send 250 to Japan and not part of the punishment then well done to him. In these circumstances the club should send the 1000 to the Japan disaster fund. (or maybe half to Christchurch?)

Indeed, that article is a bit vague, though it hints that they were all offered one-year extensions with the following reference...

I only knew Donald and Diskin were definitely offered one-year contract extensions but only because it became apparent when they both reneged on the deals. |
