Nothing stirs up inner strength inside me more than a siege mentality. Feeling like the worlds against you. Some people need an arm round the shoulder and a kind word, others need to be poked and prodded.

I'd imagine with the injuries to mcguire and peacock and the general reaction of fans and media to mcguire injury, the team will be feeling pretty under siege at the moment.

There's a lot of talk coming out of the Leeds camp at the moment. I expect McGuire will be next.

From a fans point of view I really love being hated. It makes me want it more. I hope the players feel the same, regardless of what they say or dont say in public.

It such a British thing to do, to hate success when you're not part of it. To support and empathise with the underdog, to envy others achievements and let it manifest itself in hatred. Everyone is saying 'I so hope Hudds do it this year, it would be great'. I don't suppose you'd find a neutral saying 'My god I hope Leeds do it for a fourth year in a row, that would be amazing'.

Truth is it would be amazing if we did it for a fourth year in a row, Bring it on!

It's just the british mentality. We hate success over here. You go to america and they can't get enough of it, they love success. That's life in general not specifically sport.
