Then again, given the fact he comes across as someone just dragged in off the street to sit in front of a camera having only read the results and not done any preparitory work before hand - PHEW! - should we read anything into this?

It doesnt matter really. At least with Ganson he's always the same for both teams no matter what time of the month it is.

I'd say given the way the two teams like to play it could have a significant bearing on the way the game pans out. If Ganson decides he wants the ruck area cleared quickly and is prepared to give out some early penalties to ensure it happens that could suit Leeds IMO, as so much of Wigan's defensive structure revolves around getting numbers into the tackle and stretching the patience of the referee.
