Wasps would have been mad to release him anyway. Loaning him back to Leeds, Rugby league, would be like giving up on him in Union.

Dont follow yawnion so Im not sure if he is a first team regular, but what I do know is that Tykes are in a relagation battle, there cause is greater than ours.

Look fellas. Leeds have one of their own 'on loan' and can't afford to bring him back because of salary cap issues.

Just hope we get some of the walking wounded back sooner rather than later and don't pick up any more serious injuries in the meantime.

He's doing OK for Carnegie actually, certainly last time I saw them play he was pretty good.

Quite apart from the Tykes need being greater than ours, Fa'afili was no great loss to the league game and the way he left was pretty underhand, IIRC.

He's a proven try scorer though in his time in SL. Out and out finisher. Just think what could have been if we'd have had that in the WCC.

When was Fa'afili last a league player, 2007? I don't think we can count his Harlequins career as he seemed to spend most of that time playing for Biarritz in South West France.

He's also overseas trained and while Leeds no doubt have 'quota' space available it would take them to eight this season. I wonder when was the last time Leeds had eight in a season?

He din't used to get in but latley he has been class, scoring quite a few tries.

the only way i can see lee smith getting out of his contract is the same way gareth raynor got himslef out of his leicester tigers contract, he had to buy himself out of it

He's a experienced winger who can bag you 20 trys a season. Your the stats man, I'm sure he scored well over 20 trys a year 3/4 years on the bounce.

He's a try scorer, a well rounded finisher in RL (i dont know zip about his union stint). Can you argue against that?
