.......how boring is football???? Sat watching leeds, (my team along with Dundee UTD), and I am incredibly bored. Even the worst match of rugby was better than this!

Football is comfortably more entertaining than SL, so is Union. A lot of people need to wake up to that sport.

I'm aN LUFC and Dundee Utd fan aswell how strange is that? My reason for Dundee Utd - I really liked their orange shirts when I was a kid and I've stuck with them for about 25 years since!

I simply can't watch a whole game of football. I only have interest so that I can manage small talk with people I don't know very well, or with customers. It's more like social research than entertainment.

The Sky pundit team on a Saturday all look like they are waiting patiently for a liver transplant. And why are there so many Scottish football "experts"? Sinca when were Scotland anything but a total footballing embarassment? I missed the bit where they had a team that didn't lose to Peru or Mongolia in the World Cup.

What people forget that used to watch Leeds is that this is 3rd division football and not the stuff you see on a Wednesday night on ITV

Even the premiership and internationals don't float my boat any more. Haven't done for a couple of years.

International football is in general very, very poor.

Normally the Premier League is quite entertaining, as is Division One. For quality football, you're best off watching La Liga, some of the play out there is magic.

I actually went to a Barca game a couple of years back and it was far, far better than anything I'd ever seen live before.

Premiership is the worst of the lot.

Mediocre teams with overpaid self obsessed players, propped up by wealthy backers or unmanageable debt. Very little entertainment football wise, and only 4 teams will ever get close to winning it as things stand.

The only way a team can hope to join them is to be bought out by a foreign investor, who then pours even more money into the pockets of the selfish players and their agents, who will no doubt claim to slaves to their clubs, or insulted by only a 10k a week pay rise.

Its a shocking game played by cheats who have lost the primary objective of the game (to score goals) and instead concentrate on getting their opponents penalised, and led by gutless committees who won't adopt technology to remove the cheats even though that technology exists in every Premiership ground.

As for the people who watch it ?

Sheep, the sort of people who wear nylon football shirts when on holiday in 90 degree temperatures because they saw someone else wearing a different football shirt yesterday and they want to be seen wearing theirs, sheep who follow the mantra of "The beautiful game" because some ex-pro in Sky keeps telling them - I mean, since when did a RL fan believe anything that Eddie Hemmings said ?
