I work in Haydock, which is very near to St Helens in Merseydive. Last night one of the transport guys was telling me that he had spoken to Paul Wellens on the Sunday after our game against Stains and Wellens had scratch marks on his neck. When asked he was told that Jimmy the ginger had made those marks, when Wellens was in the tunnel at Headingley trying to calm the ginger one down as he was about to sort JJB out. The reason the ginger one went to the tunnel first was to wait in ambush for JJB.

This is his version as to the Wellens/ginger whingers "difference of opinions" which has already been chronicled elsewhere. IF we meet in the Grand Final, that is where the ginger one will resume his "fued" with JJB. I, for one would love to see JJB being attacked with a spat out dummy from ten paces - thats if they stay onside of course!

Evidently the ginger one is still injured following the tackle by JJB. When I pointed out the defence spliting pass made by the ginger one after the tackle he declined to comment...
