Take Ratu, Gibson and Worrall out and that should be next seasons squad. I am hoping that we add a few more names to it tbh, maybe a household name, definatly if the Eastwood visa appeal fails.

BTW. Ali, JJB and Eastwood can play LF, Eastwood can play Centre too, and JJB can play hooker if needs be.

I'd say lets wait until we kick off our 1st fixture next yearand see who we actually do have in our squad!!


P.s The squad you've listed isn't even a confirmed squad with neither gibson or worrall having deals for next year plus eastwood is yet to be confirmed and lets not forget delaney hasn't obtained a visa yet either.

I know it's not confirmed and will change but wanted to see peoples opinions especially after the critisism of the squad this year. Just to see where we need to potentially strengthen.

I know mate but this season isn't even over and there's still plenty of rugby to be played before we even start speculating about next year.
Whatever squad we start next season with will imo still be not good enough for some and then there'll be others who come along to chelp when he hit a poor run of form!

If Eastwood & Delaney get Visas i think this will be one of our strongest squads for a while!

Just an opinion but the squad look relatively strong.

subject to that then perhaps we should be looking to add some additional cover at fullback.

Can see where your coming from, but i dont see the point in getting in another FB when we have BJB progressing well, and taking up cap space on this new FB just for him to sit in the reserves.

I have every confidence in BJB and Scotty if and when we need cover there.

I think we're still a player short if eastwood comes, but you could argue that with the extra experience the young lads have this season, that one or more could be considered part of the main squad

I would ponder whether we could do with some more cover in the halves? Webb can cover there, provided we can then cover fullback. It's probably being a bit picky though to be honest, given constraints of cap. Whoever we got would have to be happy being behind Burrow, McGuire and Sinfield in the pecking order.

There's young Tom Bush who has done well in the U18'S plus Broughton has played there if he's retained.

I thought I'd heard somewhere that he was likely to be on his way next year. I may have made that up though?
