Do you recall when Kirkpatrick 1st officiated at this level & the stick he took? But ultimately he became arguably our best referee. They must all start somewhere, the only thing I'd like to see is consistency.

I have been impressed with Alibert reffing this seasons, but his interpretations as a video ref are nothing short of clueless.

The penalty try, if you watch the highlights. You hear Ganson ask Alibert to consider awarding the penalty try. I still can't see for the life of me why it was awarded.

Because if there wasn't a high tackle made, Halley would have scored under the sticks.

How? There were other players around. Not disputing a try would have been scored, but certainly not certain he would have got any nearer the posts.

When you consider the amount of times what seems certain try's been stopped by foul play, and no penalty try given.

It was a try in the corner. Had Halley fumbled the touchdown that could have perhaps justified the ruling but as he scored anyway it was an odd call from Alibert. As Oldham is right to point out it was a call heavily influenced by Ganson, who as we all know has his own copy of the rules buried deep within his planet (or peanut) sized brain.

by far the best was russell, its only cos he had connections with bradford and cas that you dont like him, its different with silverwood though because he was a leeds fan before he took up refereeing. remember the first game last season against hull kr when he made sure that you won the game. good old richard eh.

Im always glad to know whose reffing a fixture but anyone know when squads are going to be announced? It seems Leeds have a link on their website but its not been working all afternoon. No mention of a Bradford squad anywhere either......

Yeah had same problem all i know is Scott Donald is not playing Friday.

The club can cover up a dropping all they like, but nice to see poor performances are not rewarded.
