There are many things which happen in a game which can be excused - mistakes happen, and in such a fast, high impact game things such as knock on's can, up to a point, be excused. But repeatedly poor discipline is inexcusable, especially mouthing off to a referee. Our discipline has been poor for years now, and it's really hard to understand why we keep making the same mistakes!

I see Webb has turned things around a bit. I'm not a massive fan of him getting another year as we have other options and need to bring in some new blood, but he's playing well tonight.

Makes you wonder why there's been such an outcry about people booing him - barely half an hour of rugby goes by without him giving opposition fans and neutrals at least one or two reasons to dislike him!

Halibut is not the only one out of his depth! The bald guy with the big gob is too and has been for years! What a load of tripe he comes out with again!

Webb is a bit of an enigma.... At his best he makes great attacking plays and shows that he has a good rugby brain. However, consistently refusing to learn from his mistakes regarding mouthing off and forcing stupid forward passes when in try scoring situations tend to suggest that in many other areas he's not very intelligent at all....

Surely Hoffman caught that in front of Richards?

What the hell was McGuire doing then, with such a blatent obstruction on Richards. He wasn't even looking at the ball, never mind challenging for it.

He get's a lot of (justified) criticism, but that was a very good quick ptb by Kirke, and Hardaker is some finisher...

What a first half. great performance. this is the best i've seen leeds play this season by a mile.

So, why can't Leeds play like this more often? It's so good to see a bit of pace in the three quarters - great to see Jones-Bishop back, and makes the decision to leave Hardaker out last week look even more ridiculous!

Is Phil the editor of the half time highlights for Jon Wells - he picked out sinfield's "obstruction" on Richards (which IMHO was fine - sinfield is allowed to jump - it wasn't like McGuires one!) but didn't mention the Tomkins let off

Ablett also once again looks like the best centre we have

It will be interesting to see how we go for "Metres Made" in this game, it looks to be way better than recently, but we have had some serious piggybacks which could be clouding my judgement.

It will be interesting to see how we cope if the penalties dry up, will we still have enough go forward to score more points?

He made some questionable (but not all definitely wrong) calls both ways. (Hoffman knock-on + Richards interference vs. Charnley knock-on under posts + Tomkins sin-binning). Neither team getting caned by the ref.
