Can't be going to the wire, or will he be one of the players on under 20K, even without gleeson how do they keep under the cap????,
maybe going to RU, but will only come back to play for a lesser club than leeds.

According to an interview in RL press he is looking forward to a talk with GH about a new contract. Cannot see him at the wire and my understanding is that most Union clubs are cutting wages as they are deep in debt.

If Smithy goes to RU, i'd bet that it's to a london based club, Verity Rushworth is now london based and playing the part of "Penny" in the stage show "Hairspray"!

Rhumour has it that their romance isn't completely over yet, the "amicable split" came about mainly due to outside influences, ie Smithy employed in leeds and Verity employed in london. for the foreseeable future
