BJB did nothing wrong, and Bailey was OK though wasn't on the field for long enough. Peacock had a good last ten minutes and Sinfield, who had a poor match, at least was excellent in extra-time.
Burrow and McGuire were shocking. Couldn't believe how often they took the wrong option and killed our opportunities. And we maybe made 2 offloads in the first 70 minutes, which must be a coaching decision.

How have you worked that one out?? I don't think fans realise how little impact the coach has on the players kick-off. You forget everything the coach had mentioned pretty much. I can hardly see Mcdermott saying "Listen lads, don't offload under any circumstances"
Maybe he said "Don't panic, keep composed and keep possession" which would be quite useful consideirng the amount of ball you have lost with outrageous offloads this season.. Maybe just maybe it was the players who chose not to offload.

Burrow and Bailey were good and Sinny came into his own towards the end. Thought Delaney was ok.
Hardly noticed Buderus - don't think he did anything special. McGuire was very poor and certainly not up to his standard before his injury. Webb was the poorest player on the pitch. Why he didn't tackle Chase when he had the chance is anyone's guess.

I put Buderus as 1. because he was, as usual, always the first in the kick-chase and hassled Cas into errors with his defensive speed, including the knock-on from which we scored. He was good attacking out of dummy-half as well. Unlike Burrow there's always the possibility that he'll pass the ball when he's running into traffic.

Every game just needs winning, it's not good playing awesome and losing.
My top 3 were:
1. BJB - Looked dangerous everytime he got the ball and made some great clearing runs
2. Peacock - No penalties or mistakes (that i remember) just yards and tackles, yards and tackles
3. Burrow - We may have only scored one try but burrow was lively and dangerous the whole game and put cas on the back foot many times with darting runs.

Burrow had a decent game imo lost count how many times he and Buderus broke from the ptb and looked for support that did'nt f#8king arrive.
I also agree with Al Rhino winning is EVERYTHING in these matches.

| 1. Buderus - He got through a lot of defence, especially in his first stint. Good running from dummy half in second stint.
2. BJB - Excellent clearing runs
3. difficult to come up with no.3!
A generally poor display I thought.
Watched it on TV - glad we didn't have to put up J Davies!!
How poor is Ray French? In first half he described Chases' penalty kick to touch which landed in play and bounced into touch as 'a fantastic kick'!!! What planet is he on?
I hope the grammar police aren't watching I'm not sure about that apostrophe

Bailey was awsome when on, can't understand why he didn't have longer game time, Buderus was all over as usual and burrow posed a real threat. By the way I was there and 2 minutes late, follow the advice given I did got caught up in the traffic on the M18

JP was pretty consistent all game, then rose the bar immensely in last 10 minutes. Wow.
Buderus, some world class moments that had to admired by all.
JJB again his usual work horse self. Machine.

You're welcome...think I had same when they did being and been
Apostrophes are easy really. Use them to signify missing letters or to show possession of something/someone. ....AND the only time to use one with [iits[/i most common mis-use is when [iit's[/i actually the abbreviation of [iit[/i [iis[/i.

1. Buderus

3. Bailey
I bet Kirke made double figures with his number of drives today, much better stuff from him, much more aggressive. Thought that Sinfield was very ordinary with ball in hand, but he's the man when it comes to pressure kicks.
