Two talented lads but still very young. Ive watched them both come through the scholarship. Levi is a stand out and a real athlete. Morgan is 17 and will dominate in 19s next year.

I know his dad is loud at games having sat behind him at Warrington does that count?

We have had so many dissapointments over so called talented juniors in recent years who have not improved that i no longer get over excited , how much of that has been over hype and how much has been poor coaching who knows . Fingers crossed these two lads make it .

One step at a a time, there’s a lot to do for the kids and a lot of luck needed, but I’m sure they’re often reminded that good habits generally have good outcomes.

Good that they mentioned other (not by name) young players who get lauded and then fail to make it, but hopefully he is right about these two.
We have all seen this n that next big thing who don't live up to expectations, and some fans complain that X player was not given a chance. The right attitude is massive at this age and Agar/the club thinks both have it. Attitude can get you Way above your lack of talent, talent alone can often lead to failure.

Attitude + talent will get you a long long way.

Think we have been spoiled with such a wealth of quality from 1997-2010 ish, just look at the talentent players who we had to let go who still had great Super league careers elsewhere, likes of Carvell, Scruton, Dowes, Peter Fox, Mathers, Jonny Hepworth, And so many more, we simply had too many good young players and could not keep them all. We have had a barren spell, hopefully in the next 10 years if we get half as many good players as that period we will have another great mainly home grown team.

Ithink you mean decent Super League careers elsewhere not great apart from maybe Carvell the one's you mention were no more than average

Scruton dowes Carvell would all get in out natch day 17 now.
Also we let two future MOS winners go in last 10 years, granted we got one back.

Scruton and Dowes would get in our first 17 now , it still does not mean they had better than average careers

How does Joe Gibbons rate in comparison ?

Joe is a year older but for me Tom Nicholson-Watton and Ben Meyhew are both better than Joe both are tougher. Levi and Morgan are rated higher than all 3 but both Levi and Morgan are still kids.

Morgan apparantly has put a lot of size on so i cant wait to see more of him. Levi is impressive a real athletic kid. Early early days tho.

Is Levi big enough to continue as a backrower or will he end up a centre ?

He literally went 17 on Xmas Day so hes still developing. He will be bigger than Stevie Ward with a bit of weight on him. He will be fine for back row. This off season will be good for him but he is still a kid and their is no need to rush him at all.
