Rombo played a few games and scored a long ranger at Cas. Henry Sharp also played a few games I'm sure.

How many games did Rex Terp play for Leeds? Can't have been many.

Andy Staniland that we signed from RU and then broke his leg can't have played many.

One of Douggies famous raids into RU was for Steve Pilgrim who played as A N Other and was then banned from RU. Leeds then decided they didn't want him.

Paul Bell Australian centre from Melbourne storm, came over in 2000, played 30 minutes went of injured never played again, think we replaced him Graham Mckay with who turned up for the union team originally then that useless dolop Dean lance let him go to bulls and he won the treble.

Paul Bell played a few games. He went off v Dewsbury having been caught by Paul Worthy. He didn't play many though.

I'll throw in Lee Maher (fullback) for a few games in that awful 96 season. Remember him getting m.o.m v Wigan at Headingley.

Think we had a winger called Paul Gleadhill play a cpl games around that time n all.

American Al Kirkland made just one ore two apps on the Wing in the A team and one 1st team in the Lazenby Cup .he couldnt get a work permit to continue his trial period .1958

John Riley played 1 game around same time. Ginger haired centre from Lancashire.

Wendall Sailor played on Boxing Day against Halifax, as did an 18 year old Kevin Sinfield.

I went to the game that both Eddie Rombo and John Gallagher made their Leeds debuts in, which was a testimonial game away against Bramley in 1990


If i recall correctly Rathbone broke his jaw during his Leeds debut v Leigh and actually never played again for us,Leeds paid in the region of £35,000 for him when he signed from Warrington

I was at Staniland's debut which was away at Crown Flatt v Dewsbury in the Yorkshire cup,he left the field with an ankle injury.
Staniland was a teacher was he not ? he was signed from Roundhay RU

Mick Broome(full back)in the late 60s or early 70s.Alf Meakin(winger)who i think was an Olympic sprinter played at least one game

Good player Gledders we had him a bit at Dudley Hill. At one point we had him and Marvin Golden as our centres. Great times

Best game ever. Had no right to win that game. We sat our England players in the stand. Cas were that desperate they had Westerman in the team after his appearance the night before.
