Ladbrokes Challenge Cup 2017 Sixth Round DrawThe draw for the sixth round of the 2017 Ladbrokes Challenge Cup saw the introduction of the remaining eight Super League sides who competed in the 2016 Super Eights competition. They joined the remaining eight sides who made it through their fifth round ties this weekend, including the Giant killing Swinton Lions.



The draw was broadcast live on BBC News Channel’s Sportsday programme and across other BBC media, with the teams being drawn out by rugby league league legends Chris Joynt, and Keith Senior.

Other than Warrington and Wigan not being pulled out together at the end, that couldn't have been a better draw for Rhinos.

Our run of avoiding away ties against lower league team continues though. Since 2007, we have had just one (the QF away at Leigh in 2012).

Actually would have liked a Sunday afternoon up to Barrow, never been to a game there.

Same reason I wanted Dewsbury.

Interesting they've got Wakey at home with the talk of Wakey possible playing at Dewsbury's ground next season.

Cas having a tough fixture whereas us not the week before Magic can only help us. Although maybe Sean Long's honeymoon period ended with the win over Cas in the league when they followed it up with a loss away to Widnes and Cas may stroll that cup game.

Cas vs Saints will obviously be a TV game. I think Salford vs HKR should be the other regardless of the other all SL ties between Hull/Catalans & Wire/Widnes.

TV Games for me:
Thursday: Warrington v Widnes
Friday: Hull FC v Catalan
Saturday: Salford v Hull KR
Sunday: Castleford v St Helens.

Although I would like Dewsbury v Wakefield to be on, I doubt it will.

Expect us to be Sunday as Barrow play South Wales on Saturday 6th, Keighley on Weds 10th.

I think it would be an interesting game if Leeds were to rest some first team players and give the youth a run out.
Especially since Barrow are the only professional team not to have been beaten this year in all competitions.
I think BM will give them the respect they deserve.

Usually them always getting easy teams. Two League one teams on trot, couldn't have it easier, moan when others get that luck so will stay same.

Well, the last round was pretty much heavy odds on we would get a gentle tie considering 8 of the SL teams were missing from the draw. Plus we got a tough one to start up last year with Huddersfield away to start so swings and roundabouts.

hardly bubble burst there still top after 11 rounds, if they start to nose dive after this then fair enough, but they still good be top 2-3 after regular rounds.

i cant wait for the hardaker meltdown, specially after all the abuse from Cas fans he used to get specially in our shared home town.

Hardakers biggest downfall was one particular mate. Said mate is back on the scene big time, but then again same mate spends as much time with Ferres and Watkins too.
