| Im leaning towards Wire as they play the best brand of RL imo, also its a new name on the trophy, and because of TS
Although I wouldn't mind Hull as its another new name and because of Gaz Ellis

| Anyone but Wigan. But Christ good job we didn't scrape into eights, watching this game tonight, both would destroy us, would need a cricket scoreboard.

| Warrington. Daryl Clark is one of the few I've enjoyed watching this season and not only for his sniping running out of dummy half.

| Not overly fussed as long as we see two really good semi finals and then GF.
Next weeks Hull vs Warrington will be a dead rubber though if Wire win this and Hull unlikely to be caught because of points difference.
If Warrington win tonight the semi's look like they'll be
Wire vs Wigan
Hull vs Saints
Can see Hull running out of steam at the end and it being a Wire vs Saints final.

Just Clark? I agree with you but think Currie and Westerman are superb stand outs this year that should be in International reckoning also.

That doesn't look promising for Currie though, could be his season finish.

I must have give him kiss of death. That was literally 10 seconds after I posted that he scored.

When Clark went down just after with his back I thought the same that the full on jinx was in place.
Wigan are, to quote Stevo "losing the plot" here. They have to be careful here and make sure they don't get players suspended.

| That flower incident was a disgrace. That man really needs taking to task now, he has had enough chances. Absolute screw loose.
Think Hicks Is doing really well here. But you know s mistake is just around the corner.

Actually I think it was a forearm and not an elbow, so I would have just sinbinned for high and late, not given a red

I think binning Ratchford was a touch harsh but I think he's done ok in a testing game, he probably will get slated by some though because of the number of penalties but the teams have brought it on themselves.

In what planet was that a forearm? You do know where the forearm is? And that was never a Wigan try, Thaler embarrassing himself there.

| Warrington have just capitulated here. That's the one thing I've always said about Tony Smith as a coach, he loses so many of the big close games.

The game wasn't technically close, they were a man up and 2 scores up, they had it won.

Given the "sent up as a try/no try" system then I'm ok with it staying as a try. The image of his hand is blurred and you can't make a clear decision to overturn it for me. Should say Tierney even though he scored made a meal of it and a more natural winger wouldn't have his hand stuck out like that anyway to cause that doubt.

I actually think Wigan are gonna win it now if Wane lets them play like they did in the second half then, that was the best they have played all year.
Unfortunately they are peaking just at the right time.

| Next week will be interesting what will be Warringtons state of mind and Hulls physical state given how sluggish they have looked since Wembley. Hate to say it but Wigan look favourites for the GF now they appear to be hitting form just at right time.

They looked good in attack in the final 20 mins because they had nothing to lose and threw caution to the wind, helped by Warrington not adopting a close this down mindset (a match scenario ideal for Sinfield tonight). When they don't have to take risks then their attack still leaves a bit to be desired.
With tonight and losing that lead vs Hull in the CC Final then questions have to be asked if Warrington can get themselves over the line when it matters.

I don't know why pundits keep saying they have big game experience in Gidley and Sandow, Sandow has no playoff or rep experience at all and Gidley showed today and in the CC that he cracks under pressure

True and looking through the rest of their team, not many are left from when they last won silverware with the 2012 CC (only Hill, Ratchford and Atkins tonight, Westwood also but missing tonight). They've got good forwards but that three quarter line doesn't match up to it, I mean they're playing a centre and a FB on the wings for a start.
